But when Ellanue knocks on his door, showing him what she can do and what she can teach him, Blake is head over heels—for the magic and for the girl.
As the training sessions intensify, so does their feelings for each other. Shame things are never what they seem—Ellanue thinks Blake is changing for better until she discovers Blake’s hidden agenda. It doesn’t seem things can get worse, until the people she thought as allies ambush and betray her. Heartbroken, Ellanue sets to face her enemies alone, even if the price is her life—and more important, her freedom and her secret mission.
