ROW80 checkin Sun 11/13

 

Hello fellow ROWers and friends! How was your week?

If you are around here just browsing and don’t know what ROW80 is but want to find out, you can check here.

 

Note: I’m writing this check-in on Thursday night and scheduling it to be published on Sunday morning. I’ll be out of town on Friday and I don’t usually write on weekends.

 

Here is a recap of my goals:

  • Participate on NaNoWriMo
  • Revise my NaNo novel (Energy)
  • Read 1 book per week
  • Blog at least once per week (besides the #ROW80 check-ins)
  • Comment on #ROW80 friends’ blogs

Done with Storm Born by Richelle Mead.

Now I’m reading Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler (by Sunday I should be reading something else, but not sure what yet).

 

Writing

I confess I haven’t been as motivated as I wished I was about my NaNo novel and I thought about switching manuscripts … really. Many times. Ideas are popping on my head non-stop, more than usual, and it doesn’t help.

It turns out, I wrote in two novels this week … yeah, I know I shouldn’t  but I couldn’t help it.

On my NaNo novel I wrote 15k words, adding to a NaNoWriMo total of a little over 31k.

And I wrote around 10k words on the other novel.

So, total word count for week = 25k (in 4 days). I’m guessing I was inspired lol

 

How about you guys? Everything okay?

  1. Those word counts are amazing! I often wonder if I could work on two projects at once but not sure if my brain could take it! Especially not during NaNo when it is all I can do to remember all my characters alibis etc.!

    Hope you had a lovely weekend and the next week is as productive as the last one was!

  3. Great word counts, Juliana. You make us all jealous. I’m sure you’ll find your inspiration for nano again soon. Tearing up my outline really worked and I’m loving my novel again.

  6. Congrats on the uber word count this week. Like…seriously wow – you were definitely inspired. I’ve often wondered if people work on two projects at once. Sounds like it’s possible for some to switch in and out. Good work!
